The Hard Eight, a 38' Henriques Yacht, along with staff provides private, dignified, and affordable burial at sea for 2 - 6 guests. The typical burial usually is performed off the coast of New Jersey in calm waters and usually lasts about two hours.

We also provide burial at sea with no guests present. Family and friends do not accompany the cremated remains aboard the vessel to the dispersal site. The Captain will conduct the scattering in a dignified and respectful manner, traveling to an offshore location to perform the services.

Ash scattering ceremonies for departed pets are also available. The ashes are scattered in the same manner and also last about two hours.

We comply with all federal and state regulations governing burial at sea. More importantly, we understand your desire to provide a loving tribute and a solemn farewell to your loved one in a beautiful peaceful setting.
